What does it take to be the best place to work?

SPOC Automation attended the Birmingham Business Journal’s – 2014 Best Places to Work award luncheon last Thursday, March 20th. We are very honored and thankful to have won the overall mid-size company category (50-150 employees).

The event was held at the Sheraton Hotel ballroom in downtown Birmingham, AL. According to the BBJ, there were three things that stuck out of the survey results…  “it takes a healthy dose of the 3 C’s: communication, culture and chemistry.”

Sample question from the survey – What song title best sums up your company culture? Answer: “Nothin’ But a Good Time” by Poison.

“Our company is comprised of good, solid and hard-working people. We truly have a good time at work with practical jokes and family-like camaraderie,” said Bobby Mason – President of SPOC Automation. “Every day is different around our office. We bust our tails to get the job done, but we have some laughs along the way.”
