Posted on June 16, 2015 by Drew Franklin

SPOC Automation participated in the University of Alabama MIS Forum this past spring semester.  The company sponsored two student groups completing system web-application projects for SPOC Automation.  A portion of the funds the company donated went to scholarships for the students in the photo below at an awards banquet at the university.

Students worked on two web-based application projects. Scope of work was one semester and a total of 2600 hours per project.

The Management Information Systems Program combines a strong business curriculum with the experience and technical skills needed to compete in today’s information-based society. Three of the five fastest-growing occupations in the U.S. require a deep understanding of business needs coupled with technical knowledge to help organizations succeed and grow.

Students in UA’s MIS program are well-prepared to meet head-on the challenges that companies, non-profits, and governments face in the Information Age. We invite you to explore the University of Alabama MIS program!
